چکیده
Conversion of fructose to furan aldehydes is a rapidly developing concept considering the emergent scenario replacement fossil-derived components biomass-derived green precursors. 5-hydroxymethyl furfural (HMF) and levulinic acid (LA) are two most important bio-precursors with expanded downstream utilization in modern industries. Their production from sugars complex reaction due competitive side reactions variety byproducts. Therefore, their simulated optimization an tool that can help for process economical way. In this article, we have developed mathematical solution conversion, HMF production, formation reactive environment. The accuracy model further verified through experiments found satisfactory high accuracy. be used simulate environment product under given set conditions.

Conversion of fructose into 5-(hydroxymethyl)furfural in sulfolane.
Population growth has created an expanding gap between the supply and demand of both energy and chemicals. Nonrenewable fossil sources, such as coal, natural gas, and petroleum, are the source of nearly 86% of the world’s energy and 96% of its organic chemicals. Diminishing reserves of these sources, rising atmospheric CO2 levels, and socioeconomic concerns require a reduction of our dependence...
متن کاملConversion of Fructose to 5-hydroxymethyl- Furfural with a Functionalized Ionic Liquid
Fructose can be efficiently converted to 5-hydroxymethylfurfural by using the functionalized ionic liquid 3-(2-chloroethyl)-1-methylimidazolium chloride as both solvent and catalyst in the presence of water. This work advances the field and is distinct from earlier efforts in the sense that the observed yields of HMF from fructose are rather high and the reaction conditions rather mild and neut...
متن کاملBis-sulfonic acid ionic liquids for the conversion of fructose to 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furfural.
Homogenous bis-sulfonic acid ionic liquids (1 mol equiv.) in DMSO (10 mol equiv.) at 100 °C efficiently mediated the conversion of D-fructose into 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furfural in 75% isolated yield, which was roughly a 10% increment compared to the case of the mono-sulfonic acid ionic liquids.
متن کاملConversion and assimilation of furfural and 5-(hydroxymethyl)furfural by Pseudomonas putida KT2440
The sugar dehydration products, furfural and 5-(hydroxymethyl)furfural (HMF), are commonly formed during high-temperature processing of lignocellulose, most often in thermochemical pretreatment, liquefaction, or pyrolysis. Typically, these two aldehydes are considered major inhibitors in microbial conversion processes. Many microbes can convert these compounds to their less toxic, dead-end alco...
متن کاملIdentification and Quantification of 5-Hydroxymethyl Furfural in Food Products
5-Hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF) is known as an indicator of quality deterioration in a wide range of foods. The current study covered 70 samples taken from domestically produced foods and drinks available on the Iranian markets (including honey, jam, fruit cakes tomato paste, ketchup, syrup, fruit juice, canned fruit, UHT milk, instant coffee and jelly powder). HMF levels were determined using ...
